Francesca Shriver was born in 1994, the daughter of Anthony Paul Kennedy Shriver and Alina Mojica. She is the granddaughter of Eunice Kennedy Shriver and Sargent Shriver. Her father Anthony founded Best Buddies International, which has grown into a global nonprofit supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across more than 50 countries. Francesca is part of a generation of Shriver-Kennedys who grew up deeply connected to disability rights advocacy.
